This qualification covers the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment.
Who is it suitable for?
It is aimed at anyone new to assuring the quality of assessment but who are thinking of working in an assuring internal quality assessment role. It is also suitable for those who never intend to practice – for example managers – but would like to understand the principles and practices.
What are the entry requirements?
You should be at least 19 years old. CACHE does not set any other entry requirements but colleges or training providers may have their own guidelines.
How many credits are required to complete it?
The Award requires 6 credits.
How is it assessed?
It will be assessed by your tutor or assessor using a range of methods.
Do you need to be working to take the qualification?
No, it is a knowledge only qualification.
How long does it take to complete?
You can usually complete it in 6 months or less.
